Today I woke up at 9 am. By the time I got out of bed and into my shoes for a walk, knowing it is wiser to get going before I start saying something and/or coughing out mucus, it was nine-thirty. I decided to go shopping at Superstore and so veered north instead of going to the lake -- there were some items like socks and beets I wanted to get for Lindsey plus a loaf of bread for me. I bought $25 worth of groceries and walked home as it begun to hail quite heavily. Upon arriving at 10:30, I lit some incense and sat down for a brief meditation and read some passages of the Tao Te Ching while Lindsey completed her morning yoga routine. When she finished and got into the shower, I started making some rice in the rice cooker. I then prepared a salad with carrots, peppers, beets, yeast, vinegar, oil, pepper, and romaine lettuce. I also slice and buttered two pieces of bread with margarine seeing as Lindsey had already squirreled into the loaf. I also made her fresh Grapefruit juice. New socks on, we went to the underground parking lot and I drove her to the skytrain. When I got back I made some coffee and went online to chat. I did a few hits of reclaimed butane honey oil, while sharing some positive experiences with someone online who was struggling. Milk sent chaoticgram $200 when g had said earlier that would help. Wow, I was deeply affected by Milk's actions. I consider asking Lindsey to send our $87 in change to him. It's very interesting to see that I am unsure of this.
I butter myself a thick slice of bread and sit down to enjoy it. Another cup of warm, hot even, coffee.
What to do now... but write!
